Yes, sometimes you just don't need or want an image for your candidates, we will therefore soon be releasing an update to make candidate images optional.

This will be great for those simple approval style elections that just require a simple yes or no response, and wouldn't have an associated candidate headshot image.

We know that occasionally it is important that your voters answer a specific question, or vote in a specific position, so we will be introducing "required positions".

You may optionally select positions that you wish to ensure your voters take part in before moving on to complete the election process.

Where could this be used?

• Surveys
• Gender balanced positions
• Positions that are dependant on the outcome of another position.

Working in conjunction with the required positions option, you may now determine the order that your positions are presented to voters in an election, perfect to ensure that a voter answers the required questions in order.

Voter notification emails have a new home

Email customisation is arriving soon. using your own crafted words, or a mix of your own wording and our dynamic tokens, you can customise the look and feel of the emails sent to your voters to inform them how to vote.

You can even change who the email comes from to be your own organisations name, and personalise the subject line to grab the voters attention.

Use these tags to insert data into your email body and subject line:

[election_name] - converts to the name of your election

[election_description] - converts to your election description

[election_logo] - inserts your company logo

[election_start] - displays the election start information

[election_end] - displays the election close information

[election_url] - displays the election url/weblink information

[voter] - this is replaced with your voters name.
